Many of my favourite places are within wildlife reserves, managed by charities such as the RSPB , the Wildlife Trusts  and the National Trust . However, I love to be anywhere in the UK that both evokes a feeling of peace and relaxation and that simply reaffirms my belief that it isn't necessary to travel abroad for inspiring, beautiful landscapes. This is partly from my own personal wish to reduce my 'carbon footprint' by reducing my air miles, but also because I truly do believe that the UK does have some of the finest landscape scenery that we should both cherish and nurture.
